For the dike reinforcement of the Waddenzeedijk Texel we have conducted additional soil research to visualize and control risks even better and to make optimizations possible. 

The activities consisted mainly of performing: land and underwater CPT's, mechanical land and underwater drilling, manual drilling, positioning of monitoring wells, groundwater monitoring, geotechnical laboratory research and environmental marine soil research.  

The field and laboratory work was completed in 2015. The groundwater monitoring has a duration of 2 years.
