Project description
Kremer Speciaal Zand en Grind has been mining sand in Sellingerbeetse for years. We have provided Kremer with geotechnical support by conducting research, laboratory analysis, monitoring and providing consultancy. We recently conducted CPT's and drilling for the expansion of the sand extraction pit. For safe mining, knowledge of the local soil is important. The results are included in a slope design and sand mining plan in which safe mining is key.
